- Failure is a lesson.
Failure is a lesson.
Failure = learning from one’s experiences = taking the road to success.
A Note from the CEO
While leading a chess class at a local school, a student approached me with a grin and exclaimed, "Guess what?"
Curious, I asked, "What?"
"You have to guess," they replied, brimming with excitement.
Observing their chess table, I noticed their opponent resetting the pieces to the starting position.
"Did you win your chess game?" I inquired.
"Nope! I lost, but I mastered the scholar’s mate," they responded enthusiastically.
Sharing their joy, I offered praise, "Well done."
Despite losing, the student remained undeterred. They found value in the experience. It brought to mind a quote from entrepreneur Richard Branson: "Treat failure as a lesson on how not to approach achieving a goal, and then use that learning to improve your chances of success when you try again. Failure is only the end if you decide to stop."
Failure = learning from one’s experiences = taking the road to success.
