“Chess showed me my weaknesses.”

Appreciating thoughts = understanding the importance of decision-making.

A Note from the CEO

I just had a conversation with an athlete about the importance of chess in his life, and I just had to share it with you.

This athlete said chess was the friend they didn’t know they needed.

Chess provided honesty.

That was something some of his “friends” weren’t willing to share. No matter how much he needed it.

“Chess showed me my weaknesses.”

In other words, chess showed him that he makes quick decisions without understanding the consequences. One move. One mistake. It can change everything.

“Chess teaches us to appreciate our thoughts.”

Appreciating thoughts = understanding the importance of decision-making.

Let that sink in.
